Rhetorical focus Research Paper
This research paper/project did so much more than just insert stress into my life, it made me realize that there is always more to what a certain discourse is portraying. Before writing this research paper I would read articles and quote them with 0 recollection of who that rhetor was speaking to.
Starting with the rhetors of a rhetorical focus research paper, they never end. No matter how long you have been looking there is always more to the story and rhetor. I can’t begin to express how many times I was reading an article through this and make a judgement and while writing think of the complete opposite that this rhetor could be trying to portray. This would be the exigence part to the diagram of rhetorical focuses.
exigence through some article is easy to see, which usually means my blood pressure is high. I realized there is nothing wrong with different view points because it all ends up trying into groups some have one group of genre’s and rhetors. The other thing is there could also be multiple groups of rhetors or discourse.
This research paper made me expand my horizon in the right and research world and I personally needed it. I haven’t been forced to write many big time papers and definitely not to the extent of this one. I don’t think this grade will be to great, or maybe it will who knows, but the things I’m taking away from this is going to be an extreme help down the road. I recently find myself looking up rhetors of articles on sports to see their background.
For my research paper I’d say the biggest challenge for me was knowing when and at what point to talk about rhetors. Than from there how do I keep the flow of the story together. That Is my biggest flaw in my writing I never knew how to transition and when is a goof time to bring in new articles.
The things I am taking away from not only this Paper but this class is, not matter what the discourse major news company, big leaguer, or a little leaguer always know who and why the rhetor is making the certain image on a person or a place. The other thing is time management. I’ve always waited till the last minute and this paper didn’t allow it and honestly Im excited to see what my writing holds in the future.
